To fill drill holes correctly and without air inclusion with a chemical anchor, piston plugs are available.
The piston plugs are mounted on the flexible mixing nozzle extension and are pushed outwards by the injected anchor as the drill hole fills.
Advantages:
Piston plugs ensure proper installation of adhesive anchors in deeper drill holes
By marking the flexible mixing nozzle at the correct placement depth, in combination with the float, it is prevented that too much or too little injection anchor is injected
Choice of various piston plugs diameters for all drilling holes diameters
Smoother, to be used in combination with mixing nozzle extension for deeper bonding with injection anchors. One side of the mixing nozzle extension is placed on the mixing nozzle of the injection anchor, on the other side the piston plug/float is attached. When the borehole is filled with mortar from below, the float will float on the injected mortar and thus prevent air entrapment in the mortar. The # number of the piston plug/float corresponds to the drill diameter.
