Improved: the Sympafix 'SAVE' volume calculator

"How many tubes do I need for this job?" That is perhaps the most frequently asked question when using chemical injection anchors. The answer depends not only on the number of fasteners, but also on the anchor diameter, the drilling depth, the wastage percentage and, of course, whether reinforcement or threaded ends are glued.

Try our renewed Chemical anchor volume calculator now

Sympafix previously offered the handy calculation tool 'SAVE' (Sympafix Adhesive Volume Estimator). This calculation tool has now been improved and can be downloaded here .

The main changes:

  • The new revolutionary injection anchor C200-PLUS ULTRABOND , with one of the highest bond strengths in the world, has been added as an option.
  • You only need to enter the anchor diameter. The corresponding ETA-certified drill diameter is then automatically filled in for you (previously you also had to fill in the drill diameter).
  • You will only be presented with the tube sizes that are available for your chosen formulation (previously, the tube sizes of ALL formulations were shown).
  • The calculation itself has become more accurate.
  • A product image of your chosen Sympafix chemical anchor (also known as injection anchor) is automatically displayed.

Are you opening the file for the first time? Then Excel (depending on your settings) will show the message 'Protected view'. If so, click the 'Enable editing' button to use the tool. Tip: save the calculation tool immediately, then this is no longer necessary in the future.
